BreezeClan is a group of cats that live on the east shore of the lake, inhabiting the field. The group was founded by Breezestar.

Description

BreezeClan is known among the other Clans as aggressive and unsocial. After all, it was BreezeClan cats who killed Dark Dapple and Sap Cloud, and started the war between BreezeClan and StreamClan. Cats like Breeze prevented the Clan from bringing in outsiders, leading to numbers dwindling. However, Ravenstar sought to rectify that by inviting in more cats.

Outsiders who join BreezeClan must destroy their collars and take a suffix to prove their loyalty to BreezeClan. If their prefix is particularly unClan-like, they may be made to change that as well. This can make it difficult for those unfamiliar with every cat within BreezeClan's ranks to tell who was originally an outsider, and who was Clan-born.

Eras

Breezestar

Breezestar was the founder and first leader of BreezeClan. Her deputy was Bracken Fleck, and her medicine cat was Sucker Pelt. Breezestar was a strict leader, often punishing cats for breaking the rules, using injury as "motivation" during training, and shredding the accessories of the few outsiders she let into her Clan. She injured her first apprentice, Finch Foot, using a Twoleg trap, for which StarClan punished her by causing a tree to fall and crush her during a thunderstorm. She resented Streamstar for his openness towards outsiders.

Bad luck continued to befall BreezeClan as Ginseng Heart was taken by Twolegs, patrols ended in cats being sprayed by skunks and lost prey, and cats becoming injured and sick. Breezestar loses another life, as well as her deputy and a warrior, in a rogue ambush. She appoints Raven Spots as the new deputy.

Streamstar declared war on BreezeClan on Moon 30, after a patrol of BreezeClan warriors cornered and drowned two StreamClan warriors near the lake. Loners around BreezeClan's territory pool herbs together to help the injured, though Breezestar is reluctant to take them. While out in the territory, Breezestar falls into a narrow rabbit den and is buried alive, losing the rest of her lives.

Ravenstar

Ravenstar became leader right as BreezeClan was thrown into war with StreamClan. His deputy was Blaze Flash and his medicine cat was Sucker Pelt. He hoped that by appointing Blaze Flash as deputy, he could strengthen the bonds between them and make up for the damage that Breezestar had caused. Worn from injuries, both sides begin to discuss talks of peace as leaf-fall turns to leaf-bare. During the first Gathering of leaf-bare, snow began to fall despite a clear sky, and the Clans took this as a sign that they should finally end the war that's been brutalizing StreamClan and LeafClan for moons.

After the war, Ravenstar began letting outsiders into the Clan, trying to repair the Clan's relationship with them. This lead to a bolstering of BreezeClan's ranks, quickly growing to catch up with the other Clans. When LeafClan comes asking for herbs to aid with their newborn kits, Ravenstar and Sucker Pelt oblige. After Blaze Flash is found dead out in BreezeClan territory, it is assumed he was killed by a rogue. Ravenstar appoints Flicker Cloud to deputy, though no cat in BreezeClan fully fits the requirements needed to fulfill the deputy position. Ravenstar promises Flicker Cloud the next apprentice to mentor.
