Grebe Tail was born to Night Leap and Flicker Cloud alongside Quail Speck. She was mentored by Grackle Briar. She was taken by Twolegs along with Dragonfly Wing and Pine Foot. Dragonfly Wing managed to escape, but Pine Foot and Grebe Tail became kittypets. Her name was changed to Florence by her housefolk.

Florence is a short-furred, white-and-blue broken-mackerel torbie molly with yellow-hazel eyes. She is of average height (10.56"), with an intermediate body type. She has a clipped ear and wears a purple bell collar. Florence is sterile.
