Inky was born to Dreamy, a kittypet. Dreamy brought Inky to BreezeClan, where she was adopted by Night Leap, who was already expecting kits, and Flicker Cloud. She was renamed to Pine Foot. She was mentored by Chokeberry Ember. She graduated and was honored for her sense of justice. She was taken by Twolegs along with Dragonfly Wing and Grebe Tail. She was taken in by a different set of Twolegs than her original, who named her Night.
